Programme Overview
The Diploma in Creative Multimedia at Nova Academy turns creative instinct into a professional skill set for the digital content and media industry. Over 15 months of studio-based learning plus a 3-month industry internship — 18 months in total — you will move from design fundamentals and digital illustration into graphic design, motion graphics, video production, web and UI/UX design, and interactive media. The emphasis throughout is on making, not memorising: every module is assessed through real design briefs and finished pieces rather than written examinations, so you graduate with a portfolio you can put in front of an employer instead of a transcript full of grades. You will work with industry-standard tools, learn to take a brief from concept to delivery, and develop the habit of designing for a real audience and purpose. The programme suits students with a visual, creative streak who want to build a career in design or media — entry is from age 16 with no SPM required and no entrance assessment. The diploma is issued by partner university UITM Poland (EQF Level 5), and graduates can progress to a bachelor's degree with a 12-month top-up. Classes run at the Nova campus in MRANTI Technology Park, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
