Programme Overview
The Diploma in Technopreneurship at Nova Academy is built for students who want to start something of their own — or drive innovation inside an existing company. Over 15 months of coursework plus a 3-month industry internship — 18 months in total — you will combine entrepreneurial thinking with genuine technical literacy: business model innovation, digital marketing, technology and innovation management, startup finance and funding, the basics of app and web development, pitching and presentation skills, and the legal and ethical dimensions of running a tech business. Rather than studying business theory in the abstract, you will work through the real sequence a founder faces — spotting a problem, shaping a solution, testing whether anyone wants it, and presenting it convincingly to customers or investors. Assessment is 100% coursework and project-based with no written examinations, so your results reflect what you can actually build and pitch. The programme suits students who are curious about business and technology and would rather create a job than wait for one — entry is from age 16 with no SPM required and no entrance assessment. The diploma is issued by partner university UITM Poland (EQF Level 5), with a 12-month bachelor's top-up available. Classes run at the Nova campus in MRANTI Technology Park, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur — inside Malaysia's national technology and innovation park.
